It has been a long time since i went to a function, the last was stanley's wedding 1 year ago. Looking forwards to my unit dinner last night held at carlton hotel. Since this was a unit event, we were allowed to book out at 12 noon to prepare. Overslept cos is was raining in the afternoon, itinal plan was to take the train to city hall and meet timo,ryan. But duno what happened, just have the feeling to take the bus to city hall, even though i am not going to reach there one ime. guess i am used to travelling on bus. 6pm, i was still stuck at thomson area, still drizzing outside so jam was expected lor. As the dinner starts at 6.30, there is no way i am going to reach on time, make a wise choice to alight at novena and took a taxi to carlton. Spent 8 bucks, with 2 dollars peak surchage and 2 bucks on ERP, its really not worth the money cos is only like 10 minutes to there, if i am to continue with the bus journey, i will arrives at 7 plus.

Still down with flu and cough, did not prepared to enjoy lor, although the said that the dinner is going to start at 6.30pn, we have to wait till 8pm. The theme was surviour night, so we were required to dress in castaway. i am not going to do that so, but really pei fu KK lor, who really came dressed and won the ipod . Although it was a 4**** hotel, the interiors and the ambiance really deserve more than that. But dissapointed with the food,did not really expected much since we only paid 30 bucks.

Through out the dinner, i went out for a smoking break no less than 10 times, luckly there was a air-con smoking room with huge and confortable sofa. It had been a long time i smoked in a air-con room after it smoking was completely banned in all entertainment areas. Felt so relaxed and enjoyed every single minutes insides. One of my unit flower was just sitting next to my table, Accidentally bang onto her when i was prepared to look for timo to smoking, while i was walking to timo table, i changed my mind to go without him as Timo was feeling moodly,he had lost his hp moments ago, luckly it was found eventually. I made a 360 turned and knock onto her. She was walking back to her table at that time. Wau, i was so close to her at that moments lor. haha. She smile to me when i am back to my table. During the end of the event, she even ask me a question sia, not telephone numbers but something related to the winner of the best dressed person..
